30 Days of Spider-Man 3 PicSpam: Day 9

Flint Marko becomes the Sandman...

By the way, I meant to say this yesterday - I was really touched by Flint Marko's story in the novelization. I was very meh about the character in the comics, and a bit disturbed by Sam Raimi's retconning of the whole "Who Really Killed Uncle Ben" issue (for non-comics fans, that means - that ain't the way it happened in the comics), but in the novel, at least, it worked! I hope the movie does as well with it. :)

Previous Days: Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4, Day 5, Day 6, Day 7, Day 8

22 days until Spider-Man 3!!

Nooooooo!! I'm all sandy now!!

These pictures do make you sympathize with Marko because he didn't ask for this to happen just like Peter didn't ask to get bitten by that spider. Ufornately, Marko will not use his new found powers for good.

No, he won't use them for good - but it is a little bit of a tricky situation. Not being spoilery - but he does have good intentions behind his destructive actions. And he's not insane, like the villains of the previous movies.

Finally - a villain that isn't insane and has good intentions. :P

Yes! Isn't that nice!?!

I don't like Sandman much though I can be a little pitying on the guy.

But though Doc Ock was insane, I liked him, not so much as Ock more Otto, but either way...

And you already know my view on Harry... Need I say more? Hugs :D

Now I'm off to write.

Yay that you finished!

And I like Sandman, Doc Ock was okay, too. Heck I like everybody. Probably even Eddie in his own twisted way. :)

Sand Milk Shake!Marko!

That's what I'll call him.

Ah, Maria, if only we were going to be seeing it together... what fun we would have... :D

*nods sadly*

Oh what could be....

How does one use sand for good and not evil? Sand is ooky. You can spend DAYS trying to get it out of all the nooks and crannies after a trip to the beach! Gritty, nasty stuff!

But, yeah. Poor Sandman. *pats him, then promptly washes her hand off* No one ever asks to become super...whether in hero form or villain.

Well, it's MOSTLY evil. :D But there are benefits to being made out of sand - the smallest grain-sized hole won't keep you out. There was just an interesting arc in one of the Spider-Man comics where Peter and Flint worked together on something. So it's possible!

How are you coming on the novelization?
Apr. 12th, 2007 01:50 pm (UTC)
No, I grew up with sand. It was everywhere, every summer! Blech! It's EVIL!

Oooh, and I'd do better with the novelization if it was on the Internet. *turns pink* Seems all my free time this week has been spent surfing the 'net! *lol* I'll make myself pick it up sometime today, though...I promise! ♥

OMGosh, I completely know what you mean... *facepalm* I DO have a 12 days story that doesn't have word one typed yet!!

Ouch, I feel your pain there!

But, I can do you one better...I still haven't done my taxes yet. *bites nails* How many days left do I have? I should really drive over to Jackson-Hewitt today and let them deal with it...how much do they charge?!!
