I stole this from
Comics: After becoming a TOTAL Spidey fangirl, I decided to explore the world of Spider-Man comics. To my amazement, I absolutely adored what I read! And I ended up downloading literally GBs of comics onto my harddrives. I won't list what I have in total (it's a hell of a lot), but just for kicks, here are the titles I now read on a monthly basis:
Action Comics
All-Star Superman
Amazing Spider-Girl
Amazing Spider-Man
Astonishing X-Men
Daredevil
Fantastic Four
Franklin Richards
Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man
Runaways (though I'm behind right now)
Sensational Spider-Man
She-Hulk (also behind)
Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane (FAVE right now)
Superman
Superman Confidential
New Avengers
Ultimate Spider-Man (used to read Ultimate FF and X-Men, but stopped)
Also:
Marvel event comics like Civil War, etc.
Japan: I lived in Sendai, Japan for three years, teaching music and kindergarten at an international school. We LOVED it. We want to go back ASAP, but for now, a young daughter and a new mortgage prevents that. We will return, just like MacArthur. :D
Nextwave: ...is a hilarious comic by Warren Ellis that ran for 12 issues in 2006-2007. The icon above is from it. It was mostly a parody of superhero teams, and had tons of Marvel in-jokes and silliness. I adored it and have been mourning its passing. :'(
Your turn, f-list!
