Ahh, Joe Q and Dan D hate. I've only really been reading for about a year and a half now, and I got introduced to the hate on you have to have for the pair early. Since then, I've found enough things to despise them for without people telling me to.

In DC I follow Secret Six, Wonder Woman, Booster Gold, Tiny Titans and Green Arrow/Black Canary. GABC is like a scab for me - I keep picking at it. It's a book with Dinah Lance, Ollie Queen and Connor Hawke in it! Why isn't it awesome? It should be full of awesome snark and asskicking, and it... isn't.

Yeah, the relaunch of all the Bat titles is annoying me, as I'm trying to figure out which ones I want to read. It used to be Nightwing, Robin, Catwoman and Birds of Prey, but yeah. I think I'm following Red Robin, as I can't abandon Tim, but reading Dick is more about reading Damien, and I can't stand Damien, and Dick's being all teeth gritty. And I may read Batgirl, depending on what takes place in it (any hint of Babs anywhere near a yellow boot and cognitive dissonance will shield me from the horror).

Yeah, I started in DC, and my toe dippings into Marvel came right while the FUN of Civil War was occurring, which made me look for titles that had nothing to do with that, and weren't X-men as I couldn't cope with anything that continuity-heavy to start with. Then One More Day happened and the fact I'd been only 'in' for a little while sharply raised its head: I'm 22, most of what I know about Peter comes from pop culture, the movies and S_D, and even I knew Peter was married to MJ and would never do anything that idiotic. So Joe Q pretty much managed to exclude me from buying anything 616-heavy with two quick moves.

I'm an Aussie. Unfortunately most of the online sites only work in North America, but I do download a lot. But because of bandwidth issues, I can get about one season of a tv show a month.

I have a couple of friends who are big readers of all the Bat Family books - they wish I read, so I could discuss more... but I'm sort of aware of all that is going on because of them.

Have you tried ninjavideo.net? They have everything, and it's not US-only. I'm rewatching some Big Bang Theory episodes there right now. :) (I'm pretty good at finding streaming non-US stuff for people, so don't hesitate to ask...)

Bruce is dead. Damien has way too much pagetime. Dick spends his days gritting his teeth and saying "Yes, Damien. No Damien, you can't do that." Tim's taken the usual Bat step of graduating from Robin into the most appalling, retina-burning costume he can find, while running away declaring "No one believes in me! Wah!". Jason's avoiding all the crap going on. Alfred's alternating between being Damien's only cheerleader and running his own superhero team. And the girls are all hidden as much as possible for the Batgirl launch.

Just trying ninjavideo. It looks like it'll work. I just get used to being referred to hulu and having to point out "It doesn't work. It almost NEVER works. It's only ever worked for me while Joss had them make it global for a while for Dr Horrible, and while I was actually living in the States."
