anissa7118's fanfic meme

Here is a meme created by anissa7118 for all those fanfic authors out there! My answers are below the cut.

1) What's your favorite fanfic 'verse to write in?
2) And your favorite 'verse to read?
3) Among published authors, whom do you admire most?
4) Which fanfic author do you admire the most?
5) Who's your favorite character to write?
6) Whom do you hate writing?
7) Which character is the easiest to write (might not be the same as 5)?
8) And which is the most difficult to write?
9) What's the longest story (or epic poem, if you swing that way) you've ever written? And its word or page count, please.
10) What's the word or page count of the shortest story you've ever written? What was it about?
11) Have you ever gotten anything published? If not, do you ever plan (hope, dream, pray) to be published?

Your job is to comment, and then post this meme in your own journals, for other authors to answer!

My answers:
1) What's your favorite fanfic 'verse to write in?
--Spider-Man all the way. There seem to be so many more different ideas to choose from!

2) And your favorite 'verse to read?
--Right now it's Lois and Clark:TNAOS, but I've gone through jags of Spider-Man, Smallville and Superman Returns (of course)

3) Among published authors, whom do you admire most?
--This is hard, since there are so many! But Neal Stephenson comes to mind immediately. He can write anything! His books are so intricate, intelligent, well-researched and exciting.

4) Which fanfic author do you admire the most?
--I will choose people outside my "circle" for this, since I don't want to play favorites! Max Landis (Spider-Man), Tandrelmairon (Superman Returns), Sunrei (Smallville), elspethdixon (Marvel Comics), and CC Aiken and Sue S. (Lois and Clark)

5) Who's your favorite character to write?
--Peter Parker - because you can do everything with him, not just emotionally, but also intricate action and injury

6) Whom do you hate writing?
--There isn't anyone in my two 'verses I hate. But if I ever wrote Smallville I think I would suck at Chloe.

7) Which character is the easiest to write (might not be the same as 5)?
--Lois Lane. She resides in my soul.

8) And which is the most difficult to write?
--The canon Spider-Man comics villains. I have never tried to do more than a couple paragraphs from their POVs.

9) What's the longest story (or epic poem, if you swing that way) you've ever written? And its word or page count, please.
--Deja Vu - 102,000 words

10) What's the word or page count of the shortest story you've ever written? What was it about?
--"Summer's End" - 1150 words. An Aunt May comicverse one-shot

11) Have you ever gotten anything published? If not, do you ever plan (hope, dream, pray) to be published?
--Nope. Would love to be, but I don't have any concrete plans to attempt it yet. (No plot, characters, etc... Maybe I should look for work writing tie-ins? lol)
