Super-Fam Meetup Post #5

Man of Steel is a month away today, yay! Meetup is in Chicago, IL, June 14-15 (through 16 for some).

Can I get a final tally in the post of who is coming, who is not, and who might if the stars align? It's time to get those reservations made and such, so I can finalize plans. :)

I'm not :/ Vacation is taking me to Utah the next week, so it's not going to work. But you guys have fun!

And now I'm not, as much as I hate it. There's been some serious health issues in the family in the last month. I'm loathe to bow out, but the money just isn't going to be there. I'm so sorry, Barb.

You already know kalalanekent & I are a unit - neither one of us is going to be able to make it. My dad's having some pretty serious issues; hopefully treatable though.

Add another to the 'not coming' list. :( As much as I hate to miss the chance, we just don't have the money right now.

:( Man seeing how everyone can't make it doesn't make me feel quite as bad but at the same time it bums me out, too!

Sadly I don't have the money - there's a family trip coming up (long story) and with the way things have been around here (another long story, lol) I can't get away again. I wish I could - I miss you!!

As you posted above, that is still correct that I expect to make it but if there's this few, what then? Hopefully some of the interested but not yet confirmed will be able to make it or else this trip's going to seem pretty bare. :C

It IS going to seem lonely, but I think we can still have a nice time with a few. ♥ I'll try to get place and time things together soon.

I was thinking of a more suburban hotel location instead of downtown, because of money. Would you like me to make the reservation once we agree on a location?

RIGHT? I was surprised the show kept the steam going. And honestly, though I'm burning out as a mod, I think I can handle another 13 in winter of 2014. :)

Teen Wolf looks so much darker for this year, wow. Hope it's as awesome as S1 and S2!

Not coming and so bummed about it. I'm pregnant and am trying to save as much vacation time as I can because I need to save it for maternity leave. My family would be way pissed if I only came for a weekend back home and didn't spend enough time with them since I don't see them very much. If any of you have any questions about Chicago let me know. I miss my hometown wish I could be there.
