Holy crap, when will you sleep? :p And I thought I watched a lot of things.
Sep. 19th, 2012 03:30 pm (UTC)
I honestly don't know! I usually don't have this many shows to taste test, but I love me my comedies and there are a ton to try... Hopefully I won't love them all. /o\

Once Upon a Time, Grimm, American Horror Story, The Walking Dead, Doctor Who, and Smash for me!
Sep. 19th, 2012 03:31 pm (UTC)
Oh, I didn't put Smash down because it's not premiering in fall, but I do watch!
Sep. 18th, 2012 10:36 pm (UTC)
omg @ Tuesday. buy a few more tv's for your house and run around watching each show every 5 minutes imo.

I watch Bob's Burgers, Parks, Dexter, and Castle (SOOO excited for the new seasons of the latter two!). Oh, and occasionally Up All Night.
Sep. 19th, 2012 03:32 pm (UTC)
SERIOUSLY. I do have a 4-simultaneous-shows DVR, and I can Hulu anything that goes past it, but all of those shows are only on three different networks, so it should be okay. The problem is fitting them into the week! D:

I caught up with Bob's Burgers this summer on Netflix and Hulu. It is fantastic! ♥

As far as Dexter, S4 was amazing, so I bet it was S5 where you dropped it. 5-6 were meh, but S7 is really looking faboo. You should try picking it back up! There's only one spoiler you'd need to know, honestly, the rest you could easily figure out through watching. I'll put it under a spoiler cut if you want! Let me know.

I don't need to torrent or DL, honestly. My DVR/Hulu/Expat Shield takes care of everything.

*spoilers for Dexter S6 and S7* (can't get the spoiler cut to work)
IDK, I can never wait with Breaking Bad, I love it TOOOOO much. Even though the wait will kill me. :)

Yes, Lumen was S5. S6 you can totally skip - just know these major changes: Deb is now captain, and she was starting to have feelings for Dexter that confused her, since even though they aren't blood-related, they were raised as siblings. Then, in the last seconds of the finale, she walked in on Dexter killing the "big bad" of S6, apron, plastic wrap, ginormous knife and all. The S7 premiere will open on that moment. From all reports, this reveal sticks. The critics who have seen the first two eps are praising them as being leaps ahead of anything S5 or S6.

I have video, too - behind the scenes and the first two minutes of 7.01 - want links?

Re: *spoilers for Dexter S6 and S7* (can't get the spoiler cut to work)
Yes! Deb was seeing a therapist who helped her realize that she might have romantic feelings for Dexter. She even dreamed that she was kissing him. She was going to confess to him just before she walked in on his kill.

Watch in this order:

Wow, that is impressive! Good luck with it all. I have to say, mine is a lot of similar stuff, but I usually wait until all of my US flist watch the "new" shows and then I gauge reaction after a few weeks and do a quick catch up /lazy

Also, did you use a particular site or reference to compile this? I'd love to do my own but obviously a reference point would be helpful (as I'm in the UK, obvs)
Sep. 19th, 2012 03:40 pm (UTC)
Ha, that's probably smart, but I always like to give shows a chance without being influenced by my friends first. *shrug* I've missed shows when I haven't done that!

Yes! I rely heavily on this site to keep me informed of new episodes (I check it daily):

You can create an account and select the shows you watch and it will only show the new episodes. It tracks all US, UK and Canadian shows, AFAIK.

Tuesdays are KILLING me. And Thursdays. And Mondays. And Wednesdays. Generally, I just watch a lot of TV, but I watch almost everything online now and catch up when I can.
Sep. 19th, 2012 03:40 pm (UTC)
My Thursdays are pretty bad, too, as well as Sunday. But yeah, having DVR and online makes life a LOT easier!
Sep. 19th, 2012 04:59 am (UTC)
We are Saturday twinsies! :)

I admire your ambitious schedule but no way mine will be anything close to that. Summer changed me, I really stopped watching a lot of shows.

And I learned from last year, going to try to keep down the number of freshman shows. Hate getting attached to shows that crash and burn.

I'll have to do this myself and figure out what I'm still willing to watch. Love sitting down and fixing up a schedule to watch. Thanks for reminding me of this, I had forgotten.
Sep. 19th, 2012 03:45 pm (UTC)
Do you stream you UK shows as well? I try to, or watch immediately after using Expat Shield/iPlayer.

I guess I don't mind the heartbreak? I expect cancellation at any minute with all my favorite shows, lol.

I'll look forward to seeing your schedule!
Sep. 19th, 2012 06:21 am (UTC)
Wow, I don't know how you keep up with all those shows! I'm going to be watching Arrow, Partners, Elementary, and Animal Practice. I am still iffy on Beauty and the Beast. Also, I'm already tuned in to the new season of 'The Voice'. :D
Sep. 19th, 2012 03:46 pm (UTC)
I'm not totally sure how I do/will keep up. It's always a challenge! I'll probably drop half of the (T) shows, or save them to marathon during school breaks. :)
Sep. 19th, 2012 06:27 am (UTC)
Holy CRAP that's a busy schedule. Wow, good luck with all of that. I think most of the shows I watch are on your list - I may have to add Beauty & The Beast to my list tho, I forgot about that one.
Sep. 19th, 2012 03:47 pm (UTC)
I'm not sure whether I'll like Beauty and the Beast, but I'm enjoying the other fairytale/procedural/drama hybrids, so I thought I'd give this a try, too. :)

Hmm. It wasn't bad? I don't usually judge based on pilots. The premise has potential, though, and I like several of the actors enough to stick with it at least through ep. 4-5. Ask me again in a month. :D
Sep. 19th, 2012 08:02 am (UTC)
Impressive, most impressive... IDEK how you do it. I rarely watch anything live, well maybe New Girl and Once Upon a Time..
Sep. 19th, 2012 03:49 pm (UTC)
I don't know how I do it either! Dedication. LOL. I do watch a ton of things on the weekend, as well as marathon during school breaks, so... :)
