AAAAAAND, it's that time again.

I think this TV Schedule might JUST be more insane than last year.

T=Taste testing

Dexter (D)
Boardwalk Empire (D) [forgot about this one when I first posted!]
The Walking Dead (T)

How I Met Your Mother (D)
Chuck (L - tweeting away on Mondays!)
Castle (D - only because I must sleep)
Him & Her (T - new Russell Tovey show on BBC) [Not sure what I thought. Giving this another ep or two before deciding.]

Glee (L, D if I'm tired)
No Ordinary Family (T)
The Big C (D)

Modern Family (L)
Cougar Town (D)
Undercovers (T)

Big Bang Theory (D - sorry former fandom, but Community, ftw)
Vampire Diaries (D)
30 Rock (D)

Smallville (L - complete with the Clois-gang chats right here!)
The Good Guys (L)

Merlin (L if not busy/D)

Later in the year:
Being Human (D)
Doctor Who (D)

Ending soon/already over for the summer:
Breaking Bad
The IT Crowd
Burn Notice
Drop Dead Diva
True Blood
Covert Affairs
Mad Men

I really didn't have many new shows I'm interested in, other than No Ordinary Family, Undercovers and The Walking Dead. What about you?

I'm interested in the same new shows as you. And maybe The Event, mostly because I WANT TO KNOW WHAT THE EVENT IS. And also Jason Ritter is pretty.

Sep. 1st, 2010 01:09 am (UTC)
Do you think they'll actually tell us what the Event is before... the end of the series? LOL. I sense Lost-ness. But maybe not? Tell me if it's good!

YAY Walking Dead i'm glad another person on my Flist will be watching this show. I think it will be amazing!

I'm testing No Ordinary Family b/c of Julie Benz. I hope its good but we shall see.

Man I thought my TV schedule was crazy! Your schedule is INSANE!

I really want to try Community I hear nothing but great things about it. I need to get it together and watch.

I know that thedreamer1 is going to watch, too. Hopefully more can get into it! Have you read the comic? I read the first 12 issues or so, going to keep reading as I find time.

I hope NOF is good, too. I'm on board for three reasons: Julie Benz, Michael Chiklis, and Ali Adler (a former Chuck writer).

TRY COMMUNITY OMG PLEASE. I can provide links. The DVD is out Sept. 21st. RENT/BORROW/BUY.

Edit: Oh, yeah, and did I see that you are a CLOISER? You should come on Friday nights to chat with us!

Chuck, live
Castle, probably DVR'd since 10-11 is brutal
Eldest will watch Glee. I'll only watch their production numbers
Big Bang Theory (hopefully live but the timeslot is tricksy for our family's schedule)
Smallville, live for sure!

You should try live-tweeting Chuck with us! I use a special Chuck-only account (@awesome_babe) so as not to kill my followers on @htbthomas.

It's nice to have a bunch of shows in common!

I'm so curious about "Undercovers" myself. It's like they've taken Chuck and Sarah and aged them multiple years.... sorta (of course Chuck with his geekiness makes that not quite the case but you know that I mean).

That's what I like about it, too - a married spy couple sounds interesting to me. :)

As usual, we have a number of shows in common again - def gonna try to keep up with Castle, Big Bang's new night and try to catch the pacific time chats for Smallville this time! ... Glee too... but I thought it was moving to a new night.....?

Awesome! (Have you tried Community yet? *big NUDGE*)

We chat here on my LJ in a meebo box during EST, though there are a few people who watch PST - maybe if enough people knew that the box is available during that time, too, they'd come?

Wow, a lot of (D)s in there. So you use Hulu and Sidereel for downloads? When exactly are first-run shows available on those sites? Days, weeks?!

Cannot wait for the Smallville chats!! :D

I use Hulu for some things, but I tend to use other sources (I'll DM you) for the rest. Usually things are available within 2 hours, believe it or not. Sometimes shorter (once it was 10 minutes)! The longest I usually have to wait is 2 days.

I can't wait either!

I admire your viewing schedule, I don't know if I could handle that many shows. I thought Tuesdays during the summer was pretty crazy for me with 4 shows but you have multiple days this fall like that. XD

I need to look at the fall schedules to get a better idea and maybe do a post like this but I know I might try Walking Dead. And for nostalgia purposes I'll probably peek at Blue Bloods (Tom Selleck) and Hawaii Five-O (used to watch reruns of the original back in the day). No Ordinary Family and the Cape (apparently not on the fall schedule?) intrigue me but I don't have high expectations.
Sep. 2nd, 2010 03:30 pm (UTC)
Oh, it's insane. I will probably end up dropping one or more and playing catch up in marathons during weeks when there are reruns on other shows. Or wait until summer. :)

I haven't heard much about Blue Bloods, but if you like it, let me know! The Cape is a mid-season - I'll probably try it.

You're going to be busy! :D

By the way, do you have any sources for seasons 2 and 4-current for Smallville? And season 1 (and eventually 2, if I can't catch them on Hulu) of Community? You are too persuasive and I'm hooked on both now--it's all your fault. ;D

Please for the sources/thanks for the recommendations!

This is a great one for Community:

The site does have periods of up/downtime though.

As far as Smallville... ch131.com has S7-S9, but I'd go Netflix for earlier stuff. Are you US-based? Otherwise, DM me and I can help.

I am known as the Master Crack Dealer for many! ;D

I came over from the other post. I want to admire your list and say that there are a lot of shows from your list I like, too. That's neat. Sure, I knew you already had great taste, but it's neat to discover.

And not related to this topic, but I love your journal header. Very awesome, but how come no Joel?
Sep. 10th, 2010 11:33 pm (UTC)
Awesome! Well, when I flail and squee about them on Twitter, you can join me! Though I tend to flail hardest about Chuck (on @awesome_babe) and Community. :)

Why, thanks! No Joel, because he's not in that scene (Abed as Vampire, natch) and I'm not much of a manipper. :) Plus I'm really an ensemble girl. I can take or leave Jeff most of the time. :O
