What exactly is Insane Journal? I've heard of it but never been able to fully grasp it.

It's an LJ-clone, based on the older version of LJ's software. Most things are similar to the way things were around 2006-2007 here. But I'd be back to having ads and there's no personal styles on interior pages. Plus the icon space would drop down for me again. :(

Gotcha. So, it's like LJ but not quite as nice.
It's definatly something to keep in mind if it comes to that.
