;) JK. I'm like a week behind the rest of you, I swear.
Anyway, now I have to go back and find all the reaction posts... *sigh*

Is anyone out there also reading Terry Moore's Echo? I need someone to squee with! (If you aren't, why not, goshdarnit!)
Also, I was pleased with the new launch of Spider-Man Loves Mary Jane as well. The art is not as cute (I miss Takeshi), but I think it was a strong start, which I hope will continue! Good for newbies to pick up, too.

Maybe I can do my squee post after all! I would post it to
Oooo, Echo looks great!! What is it about, exactly??
I'll copy what I said above about Echo:
It's Terry Moore's new series (the creator of Strangers in Paradise). The story centers on Julie, a down-on-her-luck young woman, who witnesses the explosion of an experimental weaponized suit - and gets partially covered with the stuff in the process. As readers, we're slowly introduced to the intrigue and what the suit can do... and I'm really enjoying the character introductions, too. Classic Moore.
All I can really say is, damn. She hooked me. It's not my typical reading fare but I couldn't put 'em down.
Now I'm looking forward to the movie. Damn, I've become a fangirl.
I've been looking at ECHO in the comic stores. Haven't gotten around to reading it yet though.
Have you read Bendis' ALIAS?
READ ECHO! I love it so far. But I've read Strangers in Paradise, so I know what kind of depth and intricacy he's capable of.
Yes, I've read the whole run of Alias - and also read The Pulse, which semi-continues the story. I did like it, even though it's not my usual cup of tea. :)
I've read some pretty strong opinions, I doubt you'd offend me. :D
Would those strong opinions be mine? Heh. I do hope I didn't offend you, though!
;D
Someone on my flist actually got defriended for saying she didn't like the book!

SMLMJ, I haven't touched it yet since I won't be reading it for a while. I am eager to see what has happened since the end of the last series to now.
