Author’s Note: A Christmas fic for my beloved foxtwin. He requested this for his birthday way back in September, and I defaulted on him. So here’s the original prompt: “A post-Pirates of Penzance story, complete with music.”  Well, I’ve got the lyrics, anyway. ♥ Lyrics are set apart from the main text and placed in italics. And for the purposes of this story, I am assuming that “wards in chancery” means that General Stanley’s daughters were not actually related.
