Everything Comes Down to Poo...

Okay, a couple of you know of the LOVE I have for this show. But it might be a surprise to some other people! One thing I adore about Scrubs is the frequency with which they incorporate non-sensical musical numbers into the show. And now the Jan. 18th episode will be "all singing, all dancing" Scrubs!

Please enjoy one of the clips. (There is also a clip of "Guy Love" available as well).

This was freakin' awesome and indeed, everything does come down to poo.

Some of those lyrics are absolutely quotable aren't they?

"First him, then you."

Most definitely.

I had always heard that this show was hysterical, but I had my fill of hospitals period when I worked in one.

That said, that was pretty amusing. *snort*

If you enjoyed that, you would definitely enjoy this show. Silly, silly, silly. I am so attached to all the characters...
Jan. 6th, 2007 05:25 pm (UTC)
Well, you know it has a ton of fans. If I ever get a chance to pick it up, I will. Unfortunately, it's on while I'm at work and we don't have DVR.

There's always the DVD Box Sets...

And btw, how am I killing you? I thought you'd be happy?
Jan. 6th, 2007 05:30 pm (UTC)
I am, but I only typed that a little earlier! *LOL* I didn't expect to see it until then! You never cease to amaze me.

BTW, good job this time? Interesting enough?
Jan. 6th, 2007 05:38 pm (UTC)
Yes. Very interesting. :) If I end up having time to read it, I always end up sending it back quickly! Just can't stop. I'll save my fave parts for a review, though.

Thought so. I just never know how the calmer chapters sound until I hear it.

One question: I still need a chapter name. I was going to use 'Breeching the Great Wall', but I don't know. Either that or 'Stutter Steps', which I like better.
Jan. 6th, 2007 05:53 pm (UTC)

But I like the second title better, too.
Jan. 6th, 2007 05:57 pm (UTC)
:P What's funny is that I have it spell right on the titles list. *LOL*

Okay, 'Stutter Steps' it is. I may even go ahead and post it. We're going to be starting the new one tonight, so it works out. I'd normally post it late tonight, anyway.
Jan. 6th, 2007 06:02 pm (UTC)
Actually, Anissa just suggested 'A Glimmer of Hope'. What do you think? That or 'Stutter Steps'?
Jan. 6th, 2007 06:05 pm (UTC)
I think I like 'Stutter Steps' better just because... even if there is a glimmer of hope... it's more about recovering from that awful day yesterday.
Jan. 6th, 2007 06:08 pm (UTC)
Good deal. We'll save the other title for later then. Going to post. Thank you so much for doing this early. *hugs* What did we do to deserve you, B? Honestly. *another hug*

And will be sending out Kent shortly. I can't wait for your next chapter. :D
Jan. 6th, 2007 06:09 pm (UTC)

That was hilarious, even for someone like me who's never seen the show (since I don't watch TV).
Jan. 6th, 2007 06:14 pm (UTC)
This show is good enough to break your no TV rule. (Very Weird Al in its humor I would say). But again, as I told Kala, there're always the DVDs...

And did you catch the LS being updated bit above? *wink, wink*
Jan. 6th, 2007 07:25 pm (UTC)
And now for another heart-felt 'WE LOVE YOU, BARBARA's!

Don't tease him, B! *LOL* Yes, Brian, it's up at all three locations as of ten minutes ago. :D
Jan. 6th, 2007 07:52 pm (UTC)
"All across the nation we trust in defecation" LOOOOOL And the Guy Love one... so many quotes so little time...

We're like 17 seasons behind here so I doubt when I'll see it, but thanks Barbara! This was awesome.
Jan. 6th, 2007 09:29 pm (UTC)
Glad you enjoyed it!

17 seasons? lol. There's always the whole 'downloading it' thing... Actually, I got hooked on the show while living in Japan, so I definitely know all about that.
Jan. 6th, 2007 10:40 pm (UTC)
So speaks the globe-trotter. I was going to tease you about the Japanese over on Brian's journal, but thought about it the minute I saw it. Our well-travelled royalty. :)
Jan. 6th, 2007 10:55 pm (UTC)
Well, better here than spamming Brian's thread...
Jan. 6th, 2007 11:00 pm (UTC)
:P Okay, Mom, be nice. At least me and Abby aren't both on at the same time today. :)
Jan. 6th, 2007 11:02 pm (UTC)
ME? Not Nice?

You didn't see the huge wink embedded in the lovely icon I made on the fly just for that response?

Jan. 6th, 2007 11:09 pm (UTC)
*Wink* Yes, dear, I did. Thanks for going to all the trouble for little ol' me.

Now my whiney little self is going to go have a nap. I'm too cranky right now, I guess. *Hugs*
Jan. 6th, 2007 11:27 pm (UTC)
Hahaha. The Poo song is sheer class. Only Scrubs could possibly get away with that. I wish I had a TV up at university. I miss it so! Thanks for sharing :D
Jan. 7th, 2007 12:33 am (UTC)
Yes, only Scrubs can get away with this stuff. Which is one of the reasons I love it!

Aw... I remember basically being TV-less in college, too.
Jan. 7th, 2007 11:48 am (UTC)
I love the show too!
It's so funny!
Jan. 7th, 2007 01:18 pm (UTC)
Do you guys get this show? And is it subtitled or dubbed? I suppose the humor in it would translate across borders pretty well. It's just goofy. :)
Jan. 7th, 2007 10:16 pm (UTC)
*Grins* I remember the first time I saw this video... a week or two ago. I laughed so hard my parents looked at me strangely... *Reminisces*
Jan. 7th, 2007 10:33 pm (UTC)
I thought you might have already seen that... :) I scoured my f-list to see if there had been any references, but I must not have enough Scrubs buddies on it.

I'm still singing it... LOL.
Jan. 7th, 2007 10:55 pm (UTC)
*Laughs* Well, I would have, but I kept having things come up last minute, so I haven't even been able to post much on my own time. *Pouts* Oh, well. I'm glad you did!
Jan. 10th, 2007 07:45 am (UTC)

Priceless. This is my new favorite song, must learn all the words and sing it at work. XD

By the way, Barbara...I love how you have icons to match topics of posts and reviews. I'm sure you've heard that tons, but I just wanted to say your icons always make me smile.
Jan. 10th, 2007 10:45 am (UTC)
I've been singing it constantly since I first saw it. I cannot wait for the actual episode to air! *sings* "Do you have a hemmorroid, or is it rectal cancer? When you flush your dookie down, you - flush away the answer!"

As far as the icons... I admired bistyboo1974's wide array of icons so much that I went paid and bought the 100 extra. Now I can always have a matching icon. :)
