NaNo 2009

Well... I don't think I'm going to participate, at least not fully. I've found this fall to be crazy busy, and writing seems to take a back seat to everything these days. :(

But I'm going to try a HALF NaNo - 25,000 words / 833 words a day. This way I can try to finish my BBT WIP and write my Yuletide assignment, and maybe even start something else if inspiration strikes.

I WANT THE DESKTOP VERSION OF WRITE OR DIE, STAT. Curses, waiting for payday. *shakes fist*

I will try to come around periodically and cheer the rest of you on. :)

Not to nitpick your post, but you linked to the graphic and not the product, and I want to check it out immediately!

Yeah, never mind. Found it, bought it. Installing it now. Because having a charge from "doctorwicked" on my credit card statement won't cause any grief whatsoever in my life.

It won't show from PayPal instead? *pats consolingly*

According to the screen after checkout, it's going to read Dr Wicked. But that's okay, I'll just pretend it's porn or narcotics from Mexico or something. :)

The program is awesome and I love it. So thank you so much for bringing it to my attention!

Hey how come we never got to see that novel you worked on for NaNo last year?

Because I lost the whole thing in a crash... :O

And because I had decided that I wasn't happy with it at all. I wasn't writing to my strengths, and trying way too hard to do something I'm not ready for. So losing it wasn't a crushing blow.

I am still searching for the next novel idea, and haven't found it yet. I'll post whatever it is on the novel journal if and when I ever do find it.

Thanks for asking. :)

That sucks. As long as you can find something you're good at and enjoy.

If you're still curious, I'm starting my novel over again.

Are you using the rewrite for NaNo?

hahah god no. I don't have that kind of time. I'm already having enough trouble finding time to do stuff with the new house now.

Hehe.. I couldn't even bring myself to do mini-nano! XD Stupid stress. All I want to do at times is crochet and read. :/

*hugs tight* Best of luck with the lower commitment of a personal Nano. :) *cheerleads* \O/

And all I want to do is watch TV and make icons... *hugs back*

But I sort of feel I should do SOMETHING. Maybe this will get me out of my rut. Maybe I will spectacularly crash and burn.

Thanks for the cheers!

I'm not doing NaNo either. I don't type very quickly and I have a fest fic due in two weeks. Although I do have a series of Spider-Man: TAS fics I want to do that would probably form a novel when stuck together. That count?

I know several people who write a series of fanfics for NaNo. It's not officially the way you're supposed to do it, but what's more important is the word count, I think!

I have written 0 words so far this month, though. Think I might fail...
