6522 / 50000 words. 13% done!

I still have about 350 words to go on the daily wordcount. But I'm confident I can do it! My promise to myself is to write 500 words, then check election results and LJ. ETA: I stopped with 150 to go. End of chapter, makes sense to me!

I tried to vote at 6:30am, but the line was huge! I went back at 3pm, deciding to write as much of my wordcount as possible in line... but there was no line then, lol. I'm so proud of all my American friends for being so proactive and voting today!

So from this little voter in a big battleground state... Go America! :)

I'd been looking for a widget! Thanks for posting it. :)

Good luck finishing up your NaNo count for today!

Way to go! On voting and on your word count. :D

I'm working on mine... slowly getting closer to my target, but I'm completely unmotivated today. :(

Go America, indeed!

My county had 47.5% of its voters do early/absentee voting. That's AMAZING. That's, like, our usual total turnout.

And go you, NaNo person! :D

That's really amazing! But I suppose in Florida, people are trying really hard to make sure their votes actually count!! :D

And thanks. :)

I tried my best to turn my stupid state blue. Pfft. (ETA: *headdesk* Even my stupid county is red! UGH.)

Ah, well. We're only worth eight electoral votes anyways.

But, hooray for Ohio! \o/

YAY! I'm just so happy that my state actually went the same way I did! This is the first time ever (out of 6 elections). My candidate has won twice, but I lived in a red state both of those times, so my vote never swayed them. ;)

Honestly, that's a HUGE reason I voted for him! We need to be relevant and work together with the world. Isolationism is the opposite of what should be happening in the 21st century.
